The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting for a portfolio of properties, supporting the Frasers Property Industrial management team with financial insights and guidance.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Property Managers and outsourced finance providers to deliver high-quality, timely, and accurate management reporting to senior management and its Capital Partners.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Take ownership of financial reporting for a portfolio of industrial assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analysis & Review: Review outputs from our outsource provider, including month-end results and variance explanations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the outsource finance provider to ensure timely reporting and provide financial support and presentation of results to Asset Management teams.
  • Budgeting & Planning: Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Compliance & Audit: Collaborate with internal and external tax and audit providers to ensure deliverables and compliance objectives are met.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively support and drive process improvement initiatives within finance processes.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Tasks: Assist with monthly data uploads, reconciliations, and accounting for various transactions including development transfers and revaluation adjustments.

What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property accounting.
  • A degree in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting, and be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate and explain financial data to non-finance professionals and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A collaborative, self-starting team player with excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
